Learn to paint, draw and enjoy creating your own artwork with an introduction to different materials, techniques and methods. We will explore new themes (including landscape, still-life, portraiture) and materials (including watercolour, acrylics, charcoal and coloured pencil) on a rolling 2 week basis, providing 'tasters' and tools to get you drawing and painting. We will look at observation techniques, capturing perspective, creating depth and contrast, using colour wash and mark making.

Art materials: If you are a beginner and want to ‘try before you buy’ or are just unsure what to bring I will provide some basic materials to enable you to get started on both drawing and painting. Level:  Suitable for beginners and those wishing to redevelop existing or rusty skills.
